2024-11-17Fix multi-selection of content.v2.16.98Carl Hetherington
In order to add ellipsizing of text we're using this "mode" of wxListCtrl where `OnGetItemAttr` is called to get information about an item. This was intended to support very long lists, so that the whole list does not have to be given to wxListCtrl. However, in this mode, multiple selections (e.g. shift-click) are just not reported. There's a 13-year-old wxWidgets bug to fix this: https://github.com/wxWidgets/wxWidgets/issues/4541 and there is mentioned the workaround applied here - listen to the focused event. We have to delay it because on macOS (at least) the selection state is not updated until after the focused event.
2024-11-17Fix "multiple" button alignment on macOS.Carl Hetherington
2024-11-10Fix examination logic.v2.16.97Carl Hetherington
Before we would stop if there was one audio stream and the first packet was from that stream; we would not carry on to find the video.
2024-11-08I think carry_on_audio should also be set false if audio_packet() returns false.Carl Hetherington

2024-10-19Tidy up and fix obtaining video length when it's not in the header.Carl Hetherington
I think this has been broken for a while as we would come out of the loop even if we still wanted to find the video length.

One or more of these improve GUI responsiveness when downloading certificates and make it less likely that GNOME complains that DCP-o-matic has hung.
2024-10-11Download Dolby certs more intelligently.Carl Hetherington
Rather than doing a load of connections to look for different filenames in a specific FTP directory, list that directory and then look for the filenames.
2024-10-08Fix mac build.Carl Hetherington
2024-10-08Fix bug causing signal changes to be lost (#2870).Carl Hetherington
It was possible (and I believe it happend) for new signals to be queued up in _pending while some old ones were being processed. They would then be cleared at the end of resume() without ever being sent.
2024-10-08I'm not sure if this is actually wrong, but it seems odd.Carl Hetherington
I think possibly only the first call to ::instance() would be locked.

2024-09-29Don't bother building ffcmp on platforms where we don't run tests.Carl Hetherington
It would be nice to check for_package as well but that needs passing into dependencies() to work.

Someone is making a very long (10h) DCP and wants big reels, and I can't think of a reason not to allow it.

2024-09-13Hopefully fix occasional hang in j2k_encoder_deadlock_test.Carl Hetherington
Previously too many frames were queued for encoding, which AFAICS meant that (if the CPU was busy) we would get to the point where too many frames were in the encoder queue, so that we blocked waiting for it to clear, and then simultaneously too many frames were in the writer queue, which (in this test) would never clear. At this point we would be backed up waiting for Writer::write() to happen in J2KEncoder::encoder_thread() so that the encoder queue could be cleared, but nobody is calling Writer::write().
